My LDV (G reg) rusted worse than me tranny body wise, the LDV chassis is much much better at resisting rust IMHO (had 4 wedge trannys and 4 LDVs).
The LDV i have at the mo has air suss on the rear, very comfy it is too :D

Hello people, TRANSIT FORUM. Give anybody a clue as to what we should be talking about?
A Transit is for life, not just for Christmas. http://www.a2ecommercials.webs.com

sorry
Most of the other forums i'm on are open minded enough to talk about other vehicals that use the same running gear (on me cortina forum we invite kit cars builders and the like to join).
Won't happen again.

I was told by a person who works at a LDV dealership:

Never trust a company that uses a skip as a logo!

as transitgeoff has said they are a good working mans motor! :) i dont like them as such the iner wheelarch is in the wrong place for me ,but with the 100ps transit turbo engine they make a good work motor! and sound so sweet with the transit turbo engine! :)
we have one of our fitters with one and she sounds a treat bombing round the yard! :)

I was considering an LDV before settling on a Transit. They are certainly good value (aka Cheap!) The big thing that turned me off was the fact that compared to a transit they are PIG UGLY

Mk1-Mk6 ...Transits are beautiful
