Engine cuts out when cold

This is a replacement engine, this explains why theres no lead out of the loom then, my seized engine could not have had the accelerator fitted , i'm just going to have to put up with problems getting it started when its cold then i take it

the other engine may have had a lucas pump, on these the cold start works with a cable from a thermo coupling on the cooling system
