hi, still not got around to having a look at the plugs! I thort it might be worth buying the plugs before i take the manifold off so that if they do need to be changed i can do it then.I have found some on ebay "A SET OF 4 QUALITY DUAL CORE DIESEL HEATER PLUGS" for about £15 (item no.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270471149313 )

Thanks for the advice guys, as it terns out the rac man was right it was the glow plug relay. problem sorted she now starts first time. :D
