what does this switch do?

So, last question of this: I went for a drive and it was still cutting out after every four minutes whilst i was going along. When it is flashing, i.e isolating the two sets of batteries, are the leisure batteries charging or just the chassis battery?
If not, how do I get charge in the seemingly depleted leisure batteries other than from a mains battery charger. Seems to have got itself in a bit of a flat state.

On the other wiring: Has anyone ever contacted Clarkes of Doncaster for a wiring diagram for hte rat's nest that controls all the gadgets, like th microwave etc? If so, were they helpful?
