When you say Turbo DI, are we talking the early type, or the later type released for the Smiley Transits with PATS installed?

I'm fairly sure the PATS is easily circumvented, its just trying to get a donor cheap enough.

I think you have them muddled up :?:

The designations are as follows;
85PS Turbo Diesel Injection
100PS Turbo Diesel Injection
115PS Turbo Charged Intercooler

LDVs used the 76PS banana Di engine and the 100PS TDI engine variants of the Di :D from 1997 up to 2002 when they went over to the 75PS and 90PS Duratorq "Tddi" engines :D

Was for the first two weeks of the scrappage scheme, and then a local firm who normally only buy cars to crush, decided to buy a rival yard so that they could break them up properly. The money they bid for every car in the area was ridiculous, no-one could compete. They bid £175 no matter what the car was, so of course they got everything.

Everything dried up!

Thankfully it seems to be coming to an end. Did more cars two weeks ago than I did in two months at the end of 2009!

Can't quite believe i'm buying back my old truck, but she is reliable, and weight limit wise can carry virtually anything as with the truck and me its just below 2tonne.

Still need to replace the engine though, its just shockingly bad on hills.

Chances of a cheap Turbo DI engine are pretty remote though :(

PATs is easy to get over and you will want to put a bosch pump on anyway.

Theres a TD engine for £350 in the parts for sale section
Lucas Laser 2000/IDS
95 Pre Production DRW TD Highcube
95 Hallmark
96 150 100PS LWB Hi-Top
96 Autosleeper Duetto
06 Mk7 (scrap)
09 140PS T330S 2.2

Gaffa tape is like the force, it has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together
