Not sure if this will help,my cousin a few years ago had a Mondeo with the same problem,they(Fords) changed the engine wiring loom and a few other parts,not sure which,still the same problem.Was fixed after more checks,either the front abs switches or something to do with the abs.

Have this exact same problem on my 2007 fwd tdci, new starter, new battery, new crank sensor, cleaned the grounds...starts and runs fine from cold then struggles to start once hot. Only error code that comes up is the generic p068a pcm de-energised too early.

I have noticed a parasitic drain on the battery. Goes down to ~12.2v overnight, but still always starts fine in the morning at this voltage and the alternator is charging it fine. Also have a 200ah lifepo4 leisure battery with Victron dc to dc charger connected to it.

The problem us just not cranking properly when engine is hot.
