Excuse my lack of knowledge, but just so I add these couple of points to the mix then maybe someone can say whether or not this could affect things. The section of hose from air box to turbo, the section closest to turbo seems alot softer than the rest, is that normal? Also noticed the other day that the rear rubber seal of the air filter is visible as the long section of housing mustn't be there l, just the very top 5mm or so. Could either of these effect turbo?

I can see my orange seal too.

Ill try and look at the rubber softness when I get a chance.
I'd definitely recommend trying a secondhand servo (genuine).

I came across a 2015 version in the wild and asked the owner if I could look under the bonnet  That hose felt very similar to the one on mine. Leading me to think it's not the cause!

I'm really hoping your right. Soon as I opened it, although it looked clean and new, it didn't look substantial or "right". Hear me out though, I can get a cheaper version, say for 40 nickers, or a Hella for, what I can see 100 upwards. I know it sounds daft but would you try a cheaper one and see if it actually helps or just fork out for the more expensive and hope for the best
