Speedo recalibration====why not just go for an early morning drive with a mate (you do have one I presume?) in another car, and using mobiles or cb or something, make a not for every 10 mph his speedo to what yours reads.
Then, get on the pc. mess about on 'paintbrush' to give you the circle, and work out where each 10 mph is on yours. Print a copy, remove your speedo and then needle, and glue your new calibrated one on.
Voila you just saved about a oner, your mate thinks you're clever, and you can clean the dust out and change bulbs in the speedo at the same time. Easy peasy
good point but most my mates havent got anything as fast as my transit
fastest is 90 
but i am sure my dad can keep up with me
