Hmmm? when i entered it then pressed 5 it just went back to code? Am i doing it right? Will go and look back at the beginning of the thread.

I've tried that today with six different radios but couldnt get it to display the serial number, it does display some dates or version numbers I think but no serial no.

The ones I tried were in Scorpios, from1995-98 models, fitted with RDS 5000, 6000, 7000 and a VNR9000 sat nav unit.

Is it maybe newer version radios it works with?

double check your serial number.

It has possibly been reprogrammed and has a different code now though, in which case you may need it doing again.

ok highlander i will double check. When i held in 1 and 6 it showed some other data[i will note this time what it says] and will post it up shortly.

problem now sorted. Took out the radio and hey ho some good chap wrote the code on top. I got wrong serial number it was actually m014027 code 3803. I dont know what the other stuff was when holding in 1 and 6 though. This is what came up.mgp dj5,then 4-06 with a number 1 over the number 3 channel button,then 050801 and cd again above number 3 channel button. Anyone know what thats all about????
