when i have fitted di,s into mk2 ,s all i had to do was alter the floor for the gearstic!

madmark, which is the best diesel to fit into Mk 2 1985 tranny? thanks

hi ,a 2.5 di out of any tranny ,the strongest engines were out of around 1989-91

madmac, will this engine and gearbox say from a transit 89, popular, need much modification, to mounts and gearbox support.
Would it be better to get complete van and head for friendly shed? and then work it out?

yes that would be your best bet then you will have all the bits you need!
