right yet more problems wish i had never bought the thing

top hose has gone  but i have a very very loud screeching noise when i pull away about 10 times louder than when a fanbelt slips :?: anyone know what this could be :?: also if i block the wastegate up the van seems to run excellent as soon as i unblock it it chucks black smoke out the back could this be the pump ??? i have tried different injecters but i have got a good pump but i think the epic pump needs to be programmed to the key does anyone know if this is the case

input shaft bearing, screechs when your foot is on the clutch pedal (clutch disengaged), goes when you engage clutch foot of pedal?

back to the head problem it would have been torqued down to wrong setting due to hyraulic pressure in the bolt holes

right going to try another turbo on it tommorow i think maybe one of the oil pipes could be blocked as the vac pump went a little while ago due to blockage in pipes that engine thats on ebay is from a pre smiley so i dont know if it will be a simple plug and play as i belive some of the wiring is diferent but if anyone can confirm if it is a straight swap i might go for it

Was that when it was hot?

If it was let it cool down and see if theres still coolant in there, the pressure you describe does sound a little over the top, but that may be down to something as simple as the pressure release valve in the cap being 'bunged up'.
