To all,

Before you give out stereo code you should be making sure the stereo is not stolen.

How would you like it if someone had stolen your stereo out of you car/van and posted on here to get the code to sell on to someone that did not know it was stolen(seller has the code for it must be his/her own stereo).

If people need the codes for any stereo then they should go to the manufacturer for it. not post on a public forum to get the code for it.

Only saying as my brother had his stereo stolen from his mondeo and it was on gumtree 2 days later with the code.

checked the serial number from the serial number in the book.
You should have a note of your serial number in case it gets stolen.

Whilst you make a very good point, how do you suggest we go about proving ownership

I have a code calculator that will give the radio codes for older ford double din radios which i am happy to upload if i knew how, it won't decode the new visteon though.
