yeah, and if it breaks down the partical filter just smash it out. problem solved.
the oil must help with lubrication, as modern diesel pumps reley on purpose made coatings which the oil will only help.

Hello all.

I have now sold my beloved tranny but have been meaning to post my last 2 stroke results here for yonks. To replace the tranny, I now have a Berlingo camper turbo diesel and I am considering adding 2 stroke to that which is what brought me back to this forum.

Like some others I found that I was getting a 2.5 mpg improvement, even allowing for the quantity of 2 stroke added in the calculation.
A bit more power? Yes, for sure. A hill I often go up when holidaying in Wales, before I started adding 2 st., I would have to change down to as low as 2cnd near the top. Last year, when on the same hill, I did not need to go lower than 4th. I thought there was more power but needed something definite to prove it and that particular hill was it.
Regards,
Tony.

Ive been running big blue on two stroke with a drop of acetone now for nearly a year and if I don't do it for a couple of fill ups it's definitely more rattle at start up and I do get a few mpg more out of the old girl
MK7 2006, 2.4 tdci, 140ps + TUNIT box = 165ps jumbo rwd known as "Big Blue" to the kids.
