:D :D Hi .......Do the headgasket again, remove the injecters first, clean all the boltholes out in the block............get help in lifting the head back on dont just plonk it on as you can end up with the trouble you are having...........................torqe it down, for final torqe paint all bolt heads with a mark at 12 oclock ,turn them all in set order to 20 past ............reset all valve clearences , ..........................................turn engine a few times by hand on 18mm socket . refit injectors ,put all back together run up engine............................... NOTE refill cooling system slowly............. this should hopefully cure your problem,...................(really sounds to me that you damaged the head gasket on fitting or have brought a duff one) GOOD LUCK BEST WISHES BILLY :D

how do you suggest to clean the bolt holes out in the block last time i used some rag and carefully pushed it in with a screwdriver do you reckon pipe cleaners would be better??? or compressed air???

thats ok - so long as you run a bolt down after and measure it will easly go down the req'd distance and a bit more - they should all be VERY easy and have no tight spots - at all!!!

I'd use new bolts if I was you! Especially with the luck you seem to have been having with it!

Haven't got a clue but I wouldn't bother doing all that work again without changing them! There are maximum length measurments somewhere for the bolts!

Silverlake are the only breakers near me, they get the odd van from time to time. Someone told me of a really good breakers in Hayling Island but haven't been there.

right got the head off today nothing looked out of place checked it all over and replaced head gasket and refitted it all (no blockage in the rad )
fired it up all seemed well until i noticed that my new oil was pi**ing out onto the floor so had a look and its coming from rocker cover gasket too late now to keep working so will carry on in the morning for the short time it was running it didnt build up any pressure in the water system :D so looks like all could be fixed :D
