changing the clutch '94 swb diesel

The pedal bite is right at the top and the clutch slips now and again, looking at it am I right in thinking that you have to drop the whole front subframe to get the gearbox out? :(

No you have to drop the rear mount on the back of the gearbox and it pulls back.
