sorry if this has been covered before, how hard is it to fit a 2.5 di from a mk3 into a mk2 pinto? do engine mounts etc all fit? any help gratefully recieved.

mate its not to bada job! the engine mounts will fit (or they did when i done one) if you are useing the mt75 gearbox you will have to mod the floor ,use the mk3 rad as well ,just abit of messing with the wires and oh fuel tank sender :shock: you need to remove this and fit another feed into it to give you a return unless you can find a diesel sender unit! :D

also using the mk3 rad the header tank is different, its probly best to take the mounting bracket off the mk3 and weld/bolt it to the mk2 as high up as you can get it!! :D

yes mate forgot about that well done mate ! cant remember were i mounted mine but i did use all mk3 parts ,she was very noisey but she went like a rocket! :D

now were to mount it in a mk1! :?: :?:
