Tyre Pressure

Postby duncancompton » Sat Aug 13, 2005 2:52 pm

I own a SWBVE83 80 70PS transit, which I bought second hand. I don't have the manual, and I need to know what the tyre pressures should be. They don't seem to be marked anywhere on the van, and I can't find them online.

Can anyone help?

Welcome, I would like to know the tyre pressures for the SWB too, our minbus is the first and all the rest are LWB.

Also, Jay, I am used to running commericals not a minbus, so always put a higher pressure in the back for the load. Thanks anyway.

I'm a little confused by this, as the pressures suggested seem to vary quite widely... My van was registered in 1999, I'm not sure what mark that makes it, but I suppose it's mk4? It's also a diesel, which seems to make a difference.

Thanks for your help so far guys. I'm confident that I'm going to be able to pump the tyres up before friday.

Cheers!

Thanks madvanman (and others) that's really helpful. I was starting to get worried my tyres were getting flat.
