Hi All
Can I fit a MT75 5 speed gearbox at the back off a 75Mk1 V4 that has a auto box fitted know.

I dont know which bellhousing you could use for this, I dont even think the splines in the gearbox would match up to a V4 flywheel. I think the easiest thing to do would be try and find a mk1 overdrive box, if converting from auto to manual you also need to install pedal box, clutch, spigot bush on back of crank etc. you'd probably have to put a pinto engine in it to install an MT75 box

this would be a nightmere conversion ,the v4 will not go to the mt75 gearbox! you could convert back to 4 speed manual box but also alot of work! if your auto box is nackard then get it repaird it would be better in the long run! also nice to drive as a auto! the only otherway as mrspivvy says is change for a pinto engine , but then its going to be hard to get the engine in behind the flat front! :?
