vinplates

hi all does anyone know where i can get a vinplate made up for a 1989 transit mine had all new steps fitted and the vin plate was never put back on the new steps

If you still have the plate, why not just put it on the new step? If you don't for MOT purposes our MOT station said just stamping the metal of the step with the chassis no permanently will satisfy the regs, but I do know them well.... Also I don't know how the police will look at it, and we run classics where a lot can happen to a van in 20 years.
