AWD Problem on 2013 Transit Trend MWB 125ps

Postby Geoff33 » Mon May 02, 2016 6:36 pm

Does anyone know what is causing my Transit to go into AWD on tarmac. I have found that when turning on full lock to the right the AWD appears to kick in and the steering goes heavy whilst on tarmac. When turning full left lock this does not happen. Are there any sensors or something that might be causing this which I could replace.

Given the complexity of the setup, and the delicacy of the gearbox, I'd swallow hard then take it to a Ford dealer

Unlikely you'll get an answer, thread is well over 4 years old and the op hasn't been on this forum since April 2017..

Well, worth trying anyway, a shot in the air can get a bird if you're lucky ...
