What engine size and power? Getting gears with engine off points to clutch side of things, driving fine one day and next morning not taking a gear and there has been no crazy noises sounds like air getting in to the system, or master cylinder problem, is the bottom of gearbox wet where belhousing meets the engine? This is tell tale sign of hydraulic bearings knackered as Is the brake/clutch master reservoir low of brake fluid, but could also be leaking at clutch master cylinder where the clutch pedal rod goes through bulkhead

When you say you can drive it, take it you have started in gear and it pulls away, does the clutch disengage when you press it.
Have you tried topping up with fluid and bleeding clutch?
I had a fiesta that leaked on clutch side. If level got too low you would loose clutch before brakes.

If you have had a full kit done it a year ago it should be OK ( depending on the make and miles covered), if you don't see any leak then the cheapest option is to fit a clutch master cylinder firsr, they're fairly cheap to buy and easy to fit and if you have Eurocar parts locally they stock at reasonable prices including LUK (you can get discount codes if order on their website) or ebay transit parts UK (tpuk)
Good luck

Got my mate to move the stick while I was under it a the parts moved freely

Sometimes if your brakes pads are low and causing low fluid you can get a bit of air in clutch side, so have a go bleeding first

Fluid level will stay up in the filler neck even when the reservoir is empty, as there is a weir between the neck and the reservoir.
mk7 08reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD
mk6 X reg 2.4 T350 LWB MHR RWD - scrapped
mk4 J reg 2.5 L300 LWB MHR RWD - sold on

Notice a trend there ? not too big and not too small

Regardless of the weir it can happen
