Eberspacher does not start up

Hi guys,

My Eberspacher does not start up. when I switch it on, the Eberspacher blows cold air for 15 seconds and then switches off. Yesterday I tried again and it fires and blows out hot air. After a restart, it goes off again. Is there anyone who knows something about this parking heater.

Might need a service, might have a worn injector, might have crap blocking the filter, might have another blockage, might have fan problem inhibiting it from starting properly, might have bad worrying, might have a problem with the circuit board controller.
Might just need a good blow out.

Can be a lot of things. cannot determine the exact model, but most of them throw errorcodes when something goes wrong. Thing is that your control panel doesn't allow these to be displayed.

Without these errorcodes it's pretty hard to troubleshoot. You could try to find someone with either a newer control panel and hook that up to yours, try starting it, or find a dealer with specialist equipment.

Have you run the fuel tank low as that can lead to blowing cold as it bleads the fuel slowly through the injector

try cleaning your magic eye
just pop it out the end and rub it
with a firm to medium handshake pressure till its sparkling

Try this site, http://www.letonkinoisvarnish.co.uk the guy seems to know what he's talking about , mine turned out to be a fault in the wiring loom, broken connection. Lew

But in a weird way he starts up when I install an extra battery.
