Exhaust Transit MK 3 rear silencer section

Postby vana mana » Fri Aug 31, 2018 5:10 pm

Ok
In my mad effort to finally sort my Amby camper I'm trying to source some spare parts like an exhaust, I managed to get a brand new one but with difficulty about 5 to 6 years back, so remembering how difficult it was then , I thought if I fit the new one and that eventually goes then surely I'm stuffed apart from having a stainless copy made at lots of £££££££

So I've managed to get another down pipe ( it's different then the one that's really old on there now as it comes out at a better angle and design as my auto gearbox went and someone on here fitted a 5 speed MT 75 box but the original down pipe was to close - so the guy shaved a few inches of the gearbox ( personally I don't think that was the answer as there was a gaping hole

So as I said - I now have the correct down pipe that does not touch the gearbox, in fact I have the correct whole system
But in my attempt to get a back up system I can only get the down pipe and middle box silencer , my motor factors say they can't get the rear any more

I have the numbers from the new rear box set up that I'm trying to get a 2nd spare for and seen some on e bay but don't want to make a mistake

Is there anyone on here that can help me again, the numbers are

This is for the rear silencer box only that goes up and over the axle and has a S bend near the end where it exits but it does not exit out the side

EXF D 6077

DB4 2

And beneath that it reads

XHD 13
? 21 - 825

I have been given 2 Klarius numbers from my motor factors
These are

FD556L which is EXFD621 euro

FD 864J which is EXFD6132 euro

I just don't know how to translate these into ones on e bay ??

Please can anyone help me ?
Also my Amby camper is 160 can anyone tell me is this LWB or MWB or SWB

Thank you

Even better does anyone know a stockists of exhausts that can sort me out ?

Did you look at the price this Ebay seller is asking for some of his parts
A mk 4 escort door card used for £1000 plus postage  and it for a 4 door not even a more desirable 3 door escort
