190 Mk3 rear leaf springs and longer u bolts

Postby vana mana » Tue Sep 04, 2018 9:51 am

Hi everyone
I'm really struggling on this one and desperate for help ?

I have a 160 wheel base Amby Camper that the rear leaf springs are soggy

I want to up grade to multi leaf springs say 3 leaf perhaps ?

I've been in convo with a sound guy who believes 190 rear leaf mk3 are the same width length as mk3 160

I have measured 54 inch from center eye bolts either end when weight is of vehicle ( so vehicle body jacked on the side I measured then axle lowered not a stand at lowest point on stand

So in general I need to know if 190 mk3 leaf springs ar 54 Nicholas long eye to eye and even better does anyone have any and the longer u bolts

Thank you for any help

There are lots of spring manufacturers around the country (must be one not too far from you) any decent ones will be able to make up springs and provide shackle bolts to suit whatever you want.
