My 2012 2.2l flashed up engine malfunction and eml light yesterday. And went into limp mode.
Plugged into scanner to get P2463 and P246C cleared codes and immediately they come back with just ignition on. Carried out re gen twice on it today with snap on scanner both times it came back as unsuccessful. I noticed both times the scanner was reading 195% soot accumulation??? After both re gen cycles this didn’t change. Seems really high so I’m thinking a wiring or sensor fault rather than a blocked DPF could anyone point me in the right direction of what may be causing it? Have checked sensor plugs all connectors are ok.
About 3 months ago I had P244C cat temp too low for regeneration switched off and re started light went away and I cleared the fault not been on since then.
