REAR VIEW MIRROR

This is more of a Legal rather than Technical question, can someone clarify the legal position?

I have just had rear windows fitted, does the law now require me to have a rear view mirror fitted in the cab?

No you only require o/s &n/s mirrors my campervan has rear windows but you cannot see through them because of furniture fitted

If you can drive an 50ft Artic with only wing mirrors a transit must be ok as well
reminds me of a story a mate who I played card with told me , he was driving home one night and the rear screen on his car was all misted up and the fuzz stopped him and tried to do him for the non clear rear screen the he came out with the cracker that he drives a truck all day so he should be able to drive a car on just wing mirrors

I think on a car if you have no wing mirrors or only drivers side you have to have a interior mirror

When I put rear windows in my Mk6 I fitted an auto dim rear view mirror from a Peugeot 307. Only 2 wires + -. No more being blinded by lorries headlights.
