mines a 2012 2.2 fwd...

mines been damaged in a few places and wanted to know if all mk7 looms are the same so i can buy another...

No they're not :( can you see the white label on it? It'll have a part number on it that you should be able to Google.
Yours will be euro 5 in any case.
56 350 2.2 130ps mk7 with 2 side doors 8)
65 290 2.2 125ps custom with 2 side doors 8)

knew it was euro 5..

haven't removed the old loom yet to see, just thought i would ask incase i could sit here in comfort and buy one..without having to go look.

Unfortunately Loot is correct...there's about a gazzilion of them depending on what model, engine, Euro-4 or Euro-5 and accessories pack fitted...take your pick..here:
