MK7 Heater & Blower Issue!!

Morning All.

100 350L

I have a problem with my heater and & blower, it only blows out hot air regardless of where the temp knob is, but the air also smells like engine bay if that makes sense?? The drivers side ones don't seem to let any air out either!

Anyone else had the same problem and rectified it, before i start ripping the wrong parts apart.

Check it's not blocked or airlocked.
Take off hoses going to heater and flush through with a hose pipe.
