Turning 350 05 plate into workshop help

Postby siral » Tue Oct 23, 2018 7:30 am

I am looking for some help.
I am wanting to turn my 350 van into alloy refurb van but i am having difficulty in finding what information i need on the equiptment i would need for the invertor side.
Is there anywhere on here that can give me some information on this.
I am wanting to run a 100lt compressor and air tools and spray gun but also need power to run a small paint booth and heat lamps. I have tried googling this and asking suppliers of invertors but keeping get a really vague answer, which is off no help.
The van itself does have some wiring just behind the drivers seat for the leisure batteries but that is all, as it was once a crew van.
Can anybody shine any light on this or if anyone has done this before. As do not want to spend a fortune in buying the wrong items.

I was also looking at possibly fitting a pto pump for the compressor side of it but was unsure how reliable they were.

I think you really need looking at a generator ether free standing or an x utilities van that has a onboard generator run off the van engine

+2 on a generator....running all those implements from an inverter will be near impossible.
