brake sizes????

HI All,

Well been searching the net for the specs for a T 450 van with out much luck.
Was wanting to know if some one might be able to tell me if the rear drum and front disc is the same size as a T 350?
Believe the T 450 is weight rated for 450 KGS as is the T 350 Rated for 350 KGS, so interested in the brakes are the same or larger?

Since you don't say, we'll assume it's a Mk6, drum brakes give it away. The T350=3500kgs and the T450=4500kgs. The larger is a Jumbo....so we'll assume you have a Jumbo.
Is it twin wheel or single...??

Yes it's a MK 6 hi roof med wheel base Yes its 3500 kGS (T 350) rated and your right wanted to know if the 4500 KGS (T 450) had the same size front and rear brakes.

No they don't ...also depends on what year model, up to Feb 2003 and after have different rotors. The twin wheel machines have 6 wheel studs.

Also depends whether you have a Dana rear end or not.
