Fuel pump timing solenoid wiring VP30

Hi Guys,

Next weekend I plan to swap a fuel pump timing solenoid on a MK6 2.4 TDDI with a VP30 fitted.

Everyone mentions cutting the wires and soldering them but no one mentions if there is a right or wrong way around for them. Both of the wires coming from the controller appear to be black

Does anyone know if it matters if the wires are mixed up?
