Raising MK7 Rear Suspension

Hi,

I’m having a bit of a time with ride heights, this weekend. Hope you guys can help out.

When I bought my Mk7 Sport, it was fitted with heavy duty rear springs, as it was used for towing.
The clearance in the arches was huge, and looked terrible.
I have now fitted lowered springs from MRS, but now I think it’s just TOO low.

Question is: can you buy spacers to go between the spring and axle, to raise it slightly (about 35 mm)??
I thought about using Escort/Capri aluminium lowering blocks. The springs sit below the axle on the cars, so the blocks drop the ride height. On the van, it’s the opposite.
Would this work, as the set up is basically the same??
OR
As I said above, can you buy proper parts to do this??

I've never found any, I made my own to give me more ride hight/sill clearance but there for a fully loaded t350

I was thinking about fabricating something along those lines, if nothing was available.
I only need 30/35mm, so shouldn’t be too hard.
As long as it has the nipple and the hole, it won’t go anywhere once clamped in place.

If leaf springs, it's better to use longer rear link arms, puts a lot less strain on the springs.

You could always remove a leaf come the heavy duty springs and refit them or put a leaf from the heavy duty springs into the lowered springs

No guarantee what height I’ll end up with, doing it that way.
If I know I need 30/35mm, then a spacer of that size should give me exactly what I need.
That’s my thinking anyway.
