side loading door

I have a 2010 swb transit the side loading door centre roller runner needs replacing looking at the roller runner itself can see the two fixings on the door but will the runner slide out from the end of the track track as I can see a plastic end cover which can be removed. Or does the track have to un-bolted from the van body, or the whole door removed.

Open the door and put a block of wood under it to support it, Mark around the roller bracket on the door, remove the 2 bolts while holding the door and have the new roller in your pocket, you can slide the roller back clear of the door and lift it out, fit the new roller having checked that they've actually given you the correct side
Line the roller up with the lines you marked before and nip them up after having removed the block of wood.

You may need to fine adjust the roller to make the door close perfectly as someone may have adjusted it before but the mark you made is fairly close.

The 3 roller set is cheap to buy from ebay.
