VV carburettor..if faulty what is the likely cause?

Postby gasbo » Wed Dec 04, 2019 7:25 pm

I purchased a pinto transit 10 years ago but the guy i bought it off converted it to lpg so didnt run it on petrol...anyway thought i try it on petrol for the first time and seems to be a problem with it so would a normal service kit rectify it normaly? or should i just stick to lpg

It’s arsehole. An ass is a donkey, which is quite ironic.

Running on LPG for to long will dry the carby seals in time and when swicthed back to petrol engine can go poorly .

Check that you have petrol getting to the carb first then maybe just buy a new carb if it's not working
