when driving down the road and put the indicators they work as they should but when i put my foot on the brakes to slow down the indicators speed up to about 4 times there proper speed is it down to the indicator relay bad earth or what has any body had this trouble befor befor i start byeing new relays and find this aint the trouble ?

The first thing to do is check the earth pins in the tail light clusters they are prone to corrosion ,you can run an extra earth between the body and the earth strip within the cluster.
If you have a bad earth the rear lamps can be like a disco , the tail lamps can flash in time with the indicators etc

As said above. Take plugs off the light cluster and wire brush the metal plate. If you really feel adventurous the plugs come apart to clean or repair the terminals.

Take the bulbs out

Or try not to brake when indicating

checked the pins on the lights and the pins are all rusty so purchased 2 new bulb holders only £ 10.80 for the pair depending on weather will try to change them saturday

changed the bulb holders but still the same so presuming cause the pins have rusted contacts in the plug are cream cracked as well will chang the plugs this we
ek end

have changed the plugs this weelend at it seems to have cured then problem but not been any where long distance to check them
