Two questions re sencors

Looking for the cam shaft sencor and what is doens this one do second pic thanks

I don't know what a "sencor" is...but l don't think the TDDi's have a camshaft sensor. Only the TDCi did.

If it did have one it would be above the inlet manifold between cyls 3 & 4.

Ok cool thanks for that. One of the fault codes p0335 was the cam shaft sensor so I assumed it had one.

Your first pic shows it doesn't have one.

Any ideas as to why it came up on the fault code. Surly if it doesn't have one it shouldn't it shouldn't have tested it. :-/

What code reader did you use?
RUST IS LIGHTER THEN CARBON FIBRE

57 transit 85t260 2.2 swb, moondust silver.

Code is down to a generic reader being unable to get a response from the Cam sender software. It's a default code output.
