side loading door lock mechanism

hi, mk6 side loading door mechanism
The central locking is not energising the lock mechanism, ive read alot on here. Cleaned the three pins checked the continuity through the short harness, aligned the pins to the striker,cleaned the striker, pushed the door in while pushing the key fob. Now i am stumped. The other locks work perfect, key fob works ok.
Does any of the pins have a 12v supply that i can check, if i take out the mechanism is there anything i can do apart from throw it in the bin.

Just stripped the lock down and found the central locking relay locks but not unlocks, adjusted the cable on the outer handle, does anybody know which colour wire does what, thanks

The rubber tyre on the centre roller has come off or missing completely. The door drops down slightly missing the contact pins. Ideally the gap round the door should be about the width of a £1 coin.

Hi , did you fix your side door....mine wont lock/ open....i can climb over front seats and open with nob inside but the key fob wont open/lock...but does all my other doors....i cleaned those pins your on about...

Had that on my mk6 and mine was just the lock mechanism getting sticky I just sprayed mine with WD40 and started working it it would open 80% of the time on the fob first time but after a week or so it started working normally
