It looks like a 2.4 TDDI with a bearmach manual fuel pump like landrover 200tdi use.
I'm sure there's others could add more, but some closer pictures of the pump may help. Or better still get the numbers off it.

Here's a link to something similar though you'd need to double check yourself before buying anything. https://www.roversnorth.com/parts/pll93 ... mp_200_tdi

I agree with Iain, it looks like a bosch VE pump to me as used on smiley transits, landrovers and many other 1990's vehicles.

I thought that the Di was the last transit that could have a cable operated throttle

It was used up to the introduction of the MK6 on the Transit, but I know of Andy pdq on here and one other who have retrifitted mechanical pumps to later Transits',, so maybe someone has done that.

It's marinised so could be anything, boat motors tend to be a bit "special" in my experience....

I know someone who's fitted a landrover pump to a Mk7

Yeah the landrover pumps cam lift and timing/advance is more suited to the later engines, so my guess is its probably a 200/300tdi landy pump

sorry about the double post above I thought I had edited it!

Last transit yes unless it's a retro fit mod by the owner, but you could take an engine out of a Mk8 with all its DPF and electronics etc and with the right pump and injectors you can bin all the technical stuff and it'll be a perfect manual engine to stick into, for example, a boat

The pump won't be converted, it'll be a standard pump just not standard for a transit.

Is it a pump for that engine you need or trying to find the same to use on something else?

The only way you'll get get the same pump is by getting the numbers off it or possibly engine number and get the build spec from somewhere if that's possible.
