Ford transit p2563 error code

Hi

I have a ford transit sport 2010

Desperately need help, it keeps going into limp mode and showing a message on the dash (engine fault) it’s been to 2 garages and both come back saying they can’t find any issues. I got my own scanner that I used today, when it happened again a code come up P2563 turbo charger boost control position sensor a circuit range/performance.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated, I’m in the middle of converting this van to a camper and intend travelling to Portugal soon.

Which engine ps..? If it has an electronic turbo actuator it may be faulty or the wiring to it is not happy.

The 140 has an electronic turbo actuator, they are are known to be troublesome sometimes...also check the wiring/connector to it.

Is it normal for the engine to make a wooshing noise under excelleration ? Is this just a normal turbo noise or possible leak ?

Ah...you may have a boost leak...check the boost hoses, inlet manifold and intercooler for splits/leaks.
