TRANSIT T200 DIESEL 2011 ENGINE SWOP

Postby Brodie » Wed Sep 02, 2020 5:29 pm

I am keen find out if I can fit another Transit diesel motor from a later vehicle into the van as the cambelt has snapped, and don't want to repair, I imagine that there may be a problem with codes, eg injectors, egr etc any help would be appreciated thanks.

Ummm, normal Transits don't have a cambelt...is it a Connect..??

Fitting another engine is possible given enough time and money.

Yep Al , also a 2011 will have the evil wet belt instead of a chain driving crank to fuel pump
I reckon his wet belt has gone not cam belt
I also recommend getting the chain conversion kit and changing wet belt and normal cam belt before engine goes in
