Radio codes

Postby snowboarder0 » Mon Jan 04, 2021 6:57 pm

Hi all
Got a mrk 7 trend
Should never have bought it.
Anyway went to van noticed central locking not working
Drives fine driven around for a bit and central locking now works.
Problem is the dam radio is asking for a code. Thr code in the book I got is not the right code. It looks like the radio has been replaced I. E the last owner put a different one in.
Screw driver marks on plastic around radio showing forced out.
Question can someone tell me the code for this one they replaced?

Central locking coming good after a drive points to our battery not being well. Get it properly load tested to rule it out as an issue.

If it's a standard radio, press buttons 1 & 6 and it will show a V or M serial number. We can get the code from that.

Maybe you have two batteries, and the front one is dead

When I turn the van off I can near like clicking in the staring collom and the hazzards button flashes the cab light flickers on and off and the computer display goes on and off. Likes is having a fit. The key remote won't lock the van or unlock. Can only lock and unlock the cab by putting key in the door.???

As Altransit said...your front battery, if fitted, is dead. If a single battery, it may be on it's last legs.

So I went to the battery garage and they linked batt charger up in engine and the back still wouldn't open. They said it's an electrical fault??
