Mk6 Ford transit not turning over

I have a mk6 transit recovery truck and it cut out while driving I have read some bits on here and I think it may be the cable that runs from the pcm to the ecu that powers the key reader and other bits I have had a look and found the cable that I have put picture up of can anyone tell me where this goes to and also where I can locate the wire from ecu to pcm thanks in advance

The connector in your pic looks like the "water in fuel" sensor wire...lives on the bottom of the fuel filter.

Have you had the codes read..?? Glow plug light flashing..??
