MK6 car MK7 doors

Postby joarnes » Tue Jul 13, 2021 8:58 am

Hi, I have a 2006 mk6 Transit van 125/300 and i just have installed front doors from a 2010 mk7 transit my old doors had central locking and dead lock but no power windows the new doors have central locking, dead lock and power windows. The power windows works fine, it was "plug and play" but the central locking is not playing along, using the fob the front doors lock and unlocking again but the rear doors stay locked, using the key, it locks the driver door but don"t engages the central locking. I read somewhere that Mk7"s power windows using the ground wire that Mk6 uses for central locking and therefore lives the central locking without any ground wire and that the best ting to do is connect the central locking ground wire and the power windows ground wire together. That"s not a problem, the problem is to identify the right pin in the connector, every wire in the Mk7 doors are black. So if anyone have a diagram over the pin"s in the connector or can give me a god idea to solve this problem I will bee grateful. The door loom seams fine, no broken or destroyed wires and central locking worked fine with the Mk6 doors on. Reg. John

The nr8 pin on the loom connector to door latch goes to nr15 pin on the door loom connector door/body, cut the wire who goes to nr15 pin on the connector door/body and connect it together with the wire who goes to nr12 pin at the same connector
