What was required for MOT? Anything that may of affected the steering/tracking, like ball joints, bottom arms, etc.

I checked the Tyre pressures and they are OK.
I had to have new front brake discs for the MOT, would that effect tracking ?

What format is the date stamp?
I have already tried to find a date, but couldn't find anything that I could decipher as a date

Four numerals on the side wall, the first two are the week of manufacture, the second two are the year.

Yes, you're on the far end of useful life, which is a shame if they're not worn out, but it's often a problem with low mileage vehicles such as campers. I've binned many a tyre that has aged before it was worn out
It's a shame that you're not closer, as I have a set of 16s that you could have tried before you bought new ones
