Transit van horn not working

Hi there,
The horn onmy transit van had stopped working. I cheked the connections, which seem fine. Ithen tapped it with a hammer with the horn depressed and this created seom honking but it was still not workingso I took it off and found that it is full of water. Is there anyway of getting the water out, and if so will this fix the problem? Or do I just need to get a replacement horn?

Just fit a new one, they're cheap and easy to get. Just make sure it faces down instead of up so it doesn't catch water.

Can I just buy any snail horn and it will fit the same as the old one?

As long as it’s 12 v and has the right terminals fitted some have just a 12v feed and some are live all the time and are activated by earth return .

Take the opportunity to fit twin snails or airhorns. I recently fitted a pair of Fiamm snails, much louder for a small outlay.
