Transit Mk7 2012 2.2 code P0405

My vans engine management light is on .plugged in diognostics and it’s saying code P0405
Exhaust gas recirculation sensor A circuit low.
Wat is it I’ve just replaced the egr valve 3 months ago.there’s only 50,000 miles on clock.
Can anyone help plz

It could be a wiring fault to the valve,
Or more likely the ‘new’ valve is faulty.

Aftermarket ones are known to cause an issue even when brand new……..
Genuine Ford ones are £300-£400,
How much you paid for the one you fitted will indicate what sort of quality it is.
