Postby marc1234567 » Mon May 30, 2022 4:30 pm

is there much similarity between late mk7 witheuro 5 and early mk8 in terms of layout of RWD engine and ancillaries.

what about differences between earlier and late mk7's ?

Don't know much about the Mk8's, some from the end of May 2016 were Euro-6 2.0L "Eco Blue" Panther engines, totally different animal... but the early Mk7's from 2006 came in 2.2 FWD and 2.4 RWD up to a build date of September 26th 2011 and are all Euro-4, any Mk7 built after that will only be 2.2 FWD & RWD... and Euro-5. Early Mk8's 2.2's are also Euro-5 and I suspect very similar to the last of the Mk7's.
