I had the same issue 3 days ago. Everything seems normal and when I turn the key nothing happens. Not a single “click” from the starter motor. Nothing at all. The day after it started just like usual again. Now it happened again when I’m parked somewhere far from home. Is it the imobilizer? Thoughts?

Isn't there a reset-able switch -- called an inertia switch under the dash somewhere ..

this is a safety switch that cuts off, when vehicle is in an accident - well it used to be just electric fuel pump ..but these days may close down a number of items.

all the best...mark

Did the airbag go off? I have heard stories of vehicles which need airbag modules reset after accidents before the engine will start.

Might be barking up a tree in the wrong park though

There are a few things you can try
BATTERY PROBLEMS: Make sure the vehicle's battery is fully charged and well connected. Check that the battery terminals are clean and that the battery cables are connected properly.
Electrical System Failure: The accident may have caused damage to the vehicle's electrical system. Check major fuses and relays to make sure they are not blown or damaged. Also, check all relevant wire connections to make sure they are not disconnected or damaged.
Sensor Problems: Damage to certain sensors may prevent the vehicle from starting. For example, a faulty crankshaft sensor or camshaft sensor may prevent the engine from working properly. Check the condition of these sensors to make sure they are well connected.
Fuel Supply Problems: An accident can result in damaged fuel lines or a faulty fuel pump. Check the fuel lines for leaks and make sure the fuel pump is functioning properly.

Seen this on Salvage Rebuilds on YouTube they have had to send control units away to be reset before they would start

On some cars that is the case, but transits normally start with the airbags gone off
You need to send the srs module off to have the crash data cleared but it won’t stop it starting
