115 hp focus engine in connect 75hp

Postby Jason18uk » Sun Jul 17, 2022 9:52 pm

Hello fellow connectors, newbie here and im after some advice.

I have recently done an engine swap from my 75hp engine to a focus 115hp engine but i am having a few issues.

1. It wasnt as straight forward as you think lol
2. When i done a little read up on the swap there was a few things i made note of i.e. getting the ecu, air flow meter etc.

My problem is, if i leave my ecu for the connect 75hp plugged in it will run, if i plug a focus 115hp ecu in the security immobiliser light stays on and just cranks, no fuel pressure.
I have since bought another ecu which came with keys (blade style not stubby) halo chip reader, clocks (wrong ones lol) and fuse box.

The bloody think still wont start as the immobiliser light is still flashing quickly at me.

Can somebody please shed some light on the situation???

I believe you will be able to programme your keys in to the 115PS unit with forscan/similar?
