What is this part?

OK What is this "hose"
Second from the left .... The thick one going up..... the other end is hanging loose (spotted it today... does not leak or anything but its dangling

It's usually attached to a clip on the chassis above the axle. Doesn't do much, but helps equalize pressure within the axle housing.

Thanks than its just a broken clip...was worried it nneeded to be connected to something
